The Integrity Diagnostic is the entry engagement. It is not self-serve. It is not a trial with a countdown. Backhelm operates the infrastructure; the client connects sources once.

Invitation
Access begins by invitation. The client authorizes OAuth connections — zero-call source authorization.

Diagnostic Access Period
Exclusive, limited-time access to Backhelm infrastructure while the diagnostic runs. Backfill and live ingestion proceed; the client does not wait on arbitrary day counts.

Certification
When fingerprint readiness is met, an operator certifies that evidence is sufficient for defensible claims. The Initial Integrity Fingerprint is human-attested.

What you receive
A certified Initial Integrity Fingerprint — claim verdicts, source coverage, material gaps, and traceable evidence. Diagnostic access ends. Continuity is offered separately.
Continuity
Diagnostic vs retainer
The diagnostic gap is continuity — ongoing memory, monthly statements, claim-bound alerts — not product quality. The fingerprint stands on its own. Retainer extends defense over time.
